'508 BEAUFORT STREET, PERTH./PHONE B2619' is printed beneath. Reference is written in blue ink and reads: '3/9/56/I have known Graeme Bywater for the last 16 years and have always known him to be an honest and conscientious lad.
To my knowledge he has never been in any trouble and I can thoroughly recommend him for any position where honesty and good work play a part./John E Scurlock.'
