Wooden handled meat chopper; pine handle shaped in semi-circle with four brass rivets. Wide blade of cast steel. Four nail heads in handle suggest improvised repair at some stage. Stamp on blade:- 'AMBECOKES & SONS/ CAST STEEL', with trademark.
