TIN OF PINS

H1994.120

Oblong shaped metal tin with hinged lid (now detached). The tin is oppressed metal, with detailed art nouveau-style floral design pressed into lid (convex). Raised inscription reads 'THE/P.P./PINS'. Tin contains a mixed assortment of pins, four male press studs, a small magnet (painted red), a curtain hook, three smooth pink plastic buttons, one white button, two sewing machine parts, a sewing machine key (or similar) on red cloth tape and a fragment of blue thread, possibly crocheted.
