BOBBINS and PIPE
H1991.90
Used at Leederville Tech for teaching plumbing apprentices There are three wooden bobbins on a strong rope, ends of the rope are bound in lead, the bobbins are pulled through a bend in the pipe when the pipe is being bent to keep it full bore, ie to stop the bend from collapsing. The bobbins are in one lead pipe with a cut made in the pipe bend for viewing the work of the bobbins. The other is a pipe showing the proper bend having used the bobbins.
