BARREL, Whale Oil

Acquired by Mr Lopresti from Finucane's Salvage Yard, near Swan Street, North Fremantle around 1960. He intended to use it for wine. Lopresti claims barrel made from Australian Karri. The ends are made from beech. Used to transport whale oil.
