COAL SKUTTLE, Apprentice's Model

Traditional coal skuttle, large opening on top, spout at front. Hinged loop handle on top, smaller fixed square handle at back, conical body tapering to flared skirt base. All edges rolled. This model was made by a student at Leederville Tech. An apprentice's model demonstrating the maker's ability to roll edges and shape and join metal. Someone has written underneath with blue felt pen "1813 MADE".
