SULKY
H1987.334
Described as a billy-goat sulky. Painted black or very dark navy blue, it is a small (goat sized) sulki with "leatherwork" padded seat and back rest, later covered with kahki brown corduroy. Had 1 3/8" x 26" bicycle wheels - right height for a goat and easier to pull than iron rimmed wheels. Never had wheelwright built wheels. Box side used under seat possibly not original? "TWO / SCOTTS / EMULSION SCOTT & BOWEN / LONDON & SYDNEY".
