Glass bottle with square headed stopper, labelled (handwritten): "Sal Volatole \ from 20 drops to \ a teaspoonful \ in a wine glass \ of \ water" and (printed): "K. MUNDAY, M.P.S., \ Dispensing Chemist \ BROXBOURNE, HERTS. \ PHONE HODDESDON 293." Bottle inside a round wooden container with shaped screw-on lid. Base stamped: "2 Oz" and marked in pencil "1 \ 9". Sal volatole is an ammonia based smelling salts type medicament.
