FOB SEAL & COMPASS, in ring

CH1973.208

Fob seal and compass belonged to Sir James Stirling, first governor of WA. Seal is crest and coat of arms of the Stirlings of Drumpellier to which branch of the family Stirling belonged. Given to the State in 1953 by Mr and Mrs Bentzon. Mrs Bentzon is Stirling's grand-daughter.
