Visiting card case, silver, blue silk lining, ivory tablets with propelling pencil. Brown leatherette case. Marks: Birmingham 1890. Maker's mark illegible.
Decoration: Front; Spray of flowers and leaves, gilded in circle, superimposed on belt of diamond pattern (lower R.H. corner). 3 birds perched on bough, flowering vines in upper R.H. section. Back; Initials M.S. (monogram) top L.H. corner. Single perching bird. Spray of plum(?) blossom and bamboo(?).
