Kingfisher
The Kingfisher built in Scotland, owned by P&O Steam Navigation Company. The Kingfisher cargo was Coal. The Kingfisher was lost 1883/04/07 at Princess Royal Harbour, off west of Albany Gas WOrks.
Kingfisher (1854-1883) An iron barque built in Renfrew, Scotland in 1854, the Kingfisher arrived in Hobart in January 1855. After trading between Hobart, Adelaide, Melbourne and Newcastle, it was sold to the P&O Company in April 1859. In April 1833, it was blown ashore on the western side of the Albany Town Jetty.
