Mug: [pewter] tapered w/ flared brim and flat basal profile. Turned markings just below brim and around the lower part of body. Appears to be some initials scratched onto the base but they are not readily identifiable.

The Eglinton built in Canada. The Eglinton cargo was General and 65,000 gold sovereigns. The Master of the Eglinton was Captain Bennett, The Eglinton was lost 1852/09/03 at North Metro Eglinton Reef.
