Slender, turriform (high spired) shell (height 6mm to 11mm)
Shell tip (protoconch) with incised spiral lines
Shell sculpture of radial ribs
Aperture usually with thin, straight outer lip
Umbilicus evident as small crack.
Morphological Distribution: Northern Australia. In Western Australia it occurs as far south as the Pilbara region.
Molecular (COI) Distribution: 55km linear distribution across Pilbara.
SRE Status: We currently regard this as a widespread species.
