AM Moulton, a shopkeeper/trader, married Mary Jones in 1838 and had 4 children. Moulton's Cottage in 27 Meadow Street Guildford, is still in use as is the nearby jetty called Moulton's Landing. A detailed letter 'A Settler of 1836 Conquering Fortune', written by Moulton is in the Battye Library.
