Upon arrival in Albany aboard the sailing ship 'England's Queen', William Morgan (First Mate) and several other crew refused to sail on, declaring the ship unseaworthy. They were jailed for 12 weeks as mutineers. On his release, William was appointed Assistant Pilot to the Port of Albany.
