My husband is Gary Russell Caporn, his father Ronald James Caporn, his father Stan ? Caporn. Would love to get a copy of the book on the family that was available but out of stock when we attended the reunion at John Curtin high school back in the 1990s

I went to a talk on the Caporn family in Melville recently. I don't have my notes to hand by the talk was by a woman who has published a book on the Caporn family and she is in the process of updating it. She's not self-publishing this time, instead she's putting it on the web. There is hope!

To the Administrator of this page: The name of the village is Long Crendon. It has been settled for close on 1,000 years. My interest in the Caporn family is because Samuel Caporn is my great, great, great grandfather and Louisa Caporn is my great, great granmother (she got married to Alexander Thomas who arrived on the HMS Scindian in 1850. He was a convict from Cardiff in Wales.)
