Curator's Talk

Edwina Ehrman from London’s V&A Museum offers behind-the-scenes insights into developing the stunning Unveiled exhibition. This talk was recorded for the exhibition's tour to Te Papa, Museum of New Zealand in 2011.

Edwina describes how she selected the dresses, suits, and accessories, and shares research highlights from the associated book. Edwina also details the process of dressing the mannequins for international touring. The presentation includes images of many dresses and accessories that you can look forward to seeing in the Unveiled exhibition.
