Circular pot lid in green, blue and yellow tones with gold border. Outer border: 'CHERRY TOOTH PASTE/ PATRONIZED BY THE QUEEN', inner border: 'FOR BEAUTIFYING AND PRESERVING THE TEETH & GUMS/ PREPARED BY JOHN GOSNELL & Co LONDON'. Profile of the young Queen Victoria in centre. This pot was introduced in about 1853 and produced in small quantities until 1840.
