Black enamel ground with border of ropework design interspersed with blue, white, orange dots of thick enamel. Mark on base: Crown over 'GIBSON & SONS' (in ribbon) 'BURSLEM/ ENGLAND/ Rd No 208180. This mark dates from c.1912+; the reg no from 1893-4. Very similar to CH1982.306, (Cup & Saucer).
