'Old English Mahogoney Case, originally a knife box, with serpentine front, inlaid edging, brass handles, hinges and keyplate.Fine quality. About 1770 (one of a pair)'. (Quotes from L.A. Mills' catalogue of the collection. Copy on file 183/79). 6 comparments, 2 with a small division. Most of the divisions slide in and out. Knob on lid, brass handles on sides.
