British patriot scene for 'VICTORY \ AND \ PEACE \ 1919'. Around top 'JAPAN. MONTENEGRO \ PORTUGAL.GREAT BRITAIN \ and \ her glorious colonies \ SERBIA \ ROUMANIA.BELGIUM.AMERICA.FRANCE.ITALY.' Printed pattern in green. Printed mark on base; lion on crown over 'Royal Doulton England' with reg. no. 666159. Design shows a youthful Britannia, with Union Jack cloak, trident, Athenian helmet and shield with legend 'PRO PATRIA' (For One's Country). Background shows the technology of modern warfare.
