1860+ oak leaf embroidery around peak on navy blue cloth (C 1859 black patent leather on peak). Captain or Commander. Cap badges (wreath, anchor, crown). Pre 1953, post 1901. On (b) there is ring around shaft of anchor.

b. "GIEVES LTD/LONDON". Label
c - h. White cap covers worn over peaked caps. During war time in home waters these were not worn. All marked "F.E. Lefroy".
