CUP AND SAUCER

White body, very faint green tinge to glaze. Glaze uncrazed. Simple shaped, though slightly fluted cup. Dish shaped saucer with footrim. Painted with landscape vignettes within borders of scrolling flowering foliage. Impressed mark on saucer 'BRIDGWOOD \ & \ SON' indicating mid 19thC date. All Bridgwood porcelains are pre 1887.
