DAGGER, Menado, N. Celebes

W1970.57.a-b

[.a] blade; doubled edged for lower 16 1/2cm. where edged, flat diamond in cross-section, ridged along mid-line. Grip is plain, ebony, set at angle. Tip simply carved.
[.b] scabbard; wood, 5 cord bindings alternating with 5 tin blades (one missing). Fragments of what may have been gold leaf.
