SIGN, 'Cyclone' Fence

Rectangular metal sign, yellow ground, red lettering: "SUPPLIED AND ERECTED BY / Cyclone / Phone 464277". Retrieved from a cyclone fence on Francis Street where Battye Library used to be and where the African Village is currently. Until 1 September 1958, Perth telephone numbers had a letter prefix and in the mid 1970s (about 1973/74) seven digit numbers were introduced.
