FABRIC WILDFLOWER SPECIMEN, Red brush, Wattle, Black Kangaroo Paw, Thelma Knox

Handcrafted botanically specific fabric wildflowers made of composite materials including silkworm cocoons, flannelette, hobby wire, cotton wool, cotton or silk thread, crepe paper, florist ribbon, PVA glue, florist's wire, fabric dyes, sisal string, bulldog clip and black and lime green velvet or suede fabrics. This specimen depicts Beaufortia sparsa - Red Brush, black and green Macropidia fuliginosa - Black Kangaroo Paw, and yellow Acacia - Wattle. Mounted in a piece of natural timber atop a rectangular piece of polished timber with bevelled edges.
