FABRIC WILDFLOWER SPECIMEN, Acacia, Melaleuca, Conospermum, Red Kangaroo Paw, Thelma Knox

Handcrafted botanically specific fabric wildflowers made of composite materials including silkworm cocoons, crepe paper, sisal string, florist's ribbon, fabric dyes, cotton wool, florist's wire, PVA glue, florist's tape and velvet or suede fabrics. This specimen depicts Anigozanthos manglesii - Mangles Red and Green Kangaroo Paw (tall), Acacia species - Wattle (yellow), Melaleuca species (pink), and Conospermum incurvum - Plume Smokebush (white). Mounted on a naturally shaped piece of timber adhered to a polished rectangular timber base.
