Sterling silver Chatelaine consisting of:
[.1] a simple ring with 6 small soldered rings attached to it and from each a silver chain extends, onto which are hung the chatelaine attachments; one chain ends in a clasp, its attachment missing
[.2] The stamp holder is formed into an envelope, with a hinged, moveable opening to insert stamps. The sterling silver mark inside indicates 1912 Birmingham, made by Adie & Lovekin Ltd.
[.3] The pencil holder is a cylindrical container with a lid, both of which are attached to two chains from the ring, The sterling mark is printed on the side of the cylinder and the lid, indicating that it was made in 1912 Chester by Adie & Lovekin Ltd.
[.4] Attached to the ring with a clip and two chains is a purse with a clasp which opens up to four fabric lined compartments. The Hall mark stamped on both sides indicates that it was made in 1913 in Birmingham, possibly by Henry Griffiths & Sons.
[.5] The coin holder is oval shaped and has a hinged lid with clasp. The hall mark is stamped inside on the base and indicates it was made in 1912 in Chester by Adie & Lovekin Ltd.
[.6] The compact is circular shape with a hinged lid which has a mirror inside the lid.
