Black and white photograph of group of soldiers including Francis James 'Frank' Anderson, 10th Light Horse, seated and reclining in trenches in Gallipoli. Frank is identified squatting second from the left. All wear hats, some slouch hats and one has a medical cross on a topee. A rifle rests against the right side of the trench in the foreground. Photograph is set in a grey mound and has a narrow, curved, brown rectangular frame.The backing is cardboard held down with nails and adhesive tape. A circular, grey label with 'A.MAYRHOFER & CO/PICTURE FRAMERS.../Hay St, PERTH'(partly worn away) is stuck on the bottom. One hanging ring with string attached remains on the right hand side
