BLOUSE, cream, satin, long-sleeved, tuck pleats

Long-sleeved, cream, satin, pointed collar, fine tuck pleats to centre front, six mother of pearl buttons (six hectagonal shaped, one circular), blouse. Pointed collar, inside stained brown (rust), with maker’s label ‘46’ sewn into collar roll. Six mother of pearl buttons down centre of fine tuck pleats from collar to bottom hem. Bottom button is circular, top five are hexagonal shaped. Small circular button under lapel, with fabric hook under leading edge of collar. Wider pleats radiate from outer collar to side seams. Small square of slight imperfection in fabric on left shoulder between last fine pleat and first wider pleat. Long sleeves with French cuff, some staining on left wrist and pulled threads on left upper arm and both wrists. Back: some discolouration across shoulders and centre, some wearing on left shoulder (from shoulder bag?). Two thin belt loops on either side of waist. Worn thin on centre back, near hem. Right set in sleeve appears to be hand-repaired. Inner seams altered? Or heavily worn?
