CIGARETTE LIGHTER, Disposable

Purple plastic bodied Bic disposable cigarette lighter with rounded edges. Has a 10mm high section of metal(?) casing at the top covering 2/3 of the width of the lighter. Inside the casing is the flame nozzle. At the back of this section of casing, sitting on top of the lighter, is the ridged metal spark wheel, behind which is a red semi-circular plastic button which holds the flame when pressed after lighting. Has a white plastic base with an oval shaped recess, at the centre of which is a round indentation. Embossed in the plastic ‘1S’ at the top, ‘16’, at the bottom, and ‘1’ and ‘0/3’ on each side. Embossed on red button is ‘BIC’ with outline of a person to the left. Marked on one side of the metal casing is ‘BIC’ and on the other is ‘Made in France’.
