SPINNING WHEEL, treadle, double drive
H2007.31
Turned stained wood, double drive, three legged, treadle spinning wheel. Arranged horizontally with fly wheel at one end and flyer at the other. Double drive band goes around fly wheel and flyer whorl twice. 3x spare bobbins with remnants of yarn attached to bench with metal rods and 2x spare various sized flyer whorls hanging with wire underneath wheel. Footman in lighter wood is attached to the flyer wheel and treadle with leather strapping.
