STOLE, fur

H1999.72

Long fur stole, joined at one end and split in middle to sit around shoulders. Stole consists of six strips, each individual strip made up of pieced skins of a ferret like creature. The fur is a greyish colour, flecked with brown. Tails are dark brown fur, and tails are attached at top and bottom of stole. There are six heads, at the top end of stole near the central shoulder join. Plastic black nose and eyes have been added to face. The underside of stole is white fur. The legs shape has been retained in the skins. the strips are held together in rows of three with thick blue string, looped on underside of stole.
