First of three postcards with a letter written over course of the three. (H1999.174, .175 and .176). Black and white photograph on front of People walking on pier. Train at right of picture, pavilion at left. Caption in white at left bottom corner "Wymouth. Pavilion and Pier". Writtten in blue ink on reverse, "Monte Video Camp/No 2 Command Depot/No 4 Company/Weymouth/Dorcet/England/17/4/17/DearestLida/This is the Playhouse/on th Pier. While I was/here I saw the play - /"Diana of Dobsons" a /pure English produciton/I am to leave by the first/boat home. Hope it will not/be very long leaving".
