CERAMIC JAR, ginger
H2002.99
Hexagonal ceramic jar, tapering in at base and mouth. Not uniform in shape. Jar is glazed green and has a floral motif moulded onto each side panel of the hexagon. Scroll work around jar as it tapers to mouth. Base of jar and part of side section has been painted with white enamel paint (applied at later date), which is now peeling off. Lid of jar is round, uncoloured, sandy-yellow clay. Top section only of lid is glazed.
