Single page leaflet in buff coloured paper with orange strip. The orange section reads: 'THE JAPANESE WITH THIS MESSAGE HAS CEASED RESISTANCE. HE SHOULD BE/ TREATED WELL IN ACCORDANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL LAW. TAKE HIM TO/ THE NEAREST COMMANDING OFFICER./ NATIVES CARRYING THESE LEAFLETS ARE AUTHORISED TO DO SO./C-IN-C ALLIED FORCES.' On the same side, a Japanese translation and on the reverse New Guinea pidgin with the Australian coat of arms at the top.
