PLATE, Wembley Ware

Bread and butter plate which has been re-modelled into a Souvenir by adding a transfer decoration: 'SOUVENIR/ (black swan)/ CHURCHES OF CHRIST IN W.A./ CHRISTIAN CENTRE/ OCTOBER, 1960'. The building for the Church of Christ is depicted in the centre of the plate. The Church is on Beaufort Street, Perth. On the reverse a black and yellow transfer mark ('WEMBLEY WARE/ MADE IN/ AUSTRALIA) overprints a standard black 'Wembley/ Quality Ware' mark.
