GAVEL
H1996.48
The gavel has been varnished. In the lower third of the handle, seven ridges have been cut close together, all around the circumference of the rounded handle. A little further, one higher and one lower, are another two ridges. The bottom of the handle has been carved into a little dome/bell shape.
The head of the gavel has also been decorated with ridges around its curved sides. On top a metal plate has been attached with the words 'Night Guild' written on (in ink?).
