Reads 'COMPLIMENTS OF/ BASNETT,/ GARLAND & CO/ LEATHER/ AND/ GRINDERY/ MERCHANTS./ MURRAY STREET/ (NEXT TO BOANS)/ PERTH.'
Below this in the middle of the board is the thermometer, which is atttached by a metal loop screwed to the board towards the top and one towards the bottom, and a large metal piece screwed on at the bottom of the glass thermometer.
The dye in the thermometer is red and all the numbers go up to 120 and down to -20.
Below thermometer reads: 'PHONE A3241'.
The board is painted a brassy-gold colour on the front and the lettering is all black.
