SHEET EDGING, Crochet
H1995.376
Sheet edging. This design was also used for work in bed surrounds, pillowcases etc. In this strip of crochet sample there is a running diamond shape there with decorative open pattern in centre. The diamonds are formed by square blocks of stitching. At the top edge of the work an open sqaure pattern links the diamonds. The other edge is scalloped.
