Wedge-shaped, flat-sided, slightly curved head, beech wood, carpenter's and joiner's wood framing mallet. Handle fitted into a tapered mortice in head and joined with adhesive. Two circular holes in handle. 'WOOD FRAMEING/MALLET/1947. BEECH/TIMBER/EDIBB KARDINYA', handwritten in blue ink on yellow paper/card label with black ink diagram of mallet.
