FARE BOX

Portable brass "Farebox", main frame bound in leather. Two glass windows (one glass missing) on back and front. Lower section holds coins inserted through the slot on the top. Above the handle is a button which open a sort of trap door allowing the coins to slide into the "safe" - the lower section for the money box. The brass handle occupies the top section of one side and below that is a brass key- operated door, the only way out.
