Flat opening lid. Design on lid is of Union Jack with brand name in oval in centre of the Union Jack. Colours red, white and blue, central oval gold rimmed and yellow background with red script. Script "LUCKY HIT \ ready rubbed \ TOBACCO" and "202 Net Weight when packed". Script around side of lid from front "The British Australasian Tobacco Co. Ltd., Melbourne, Australia \ Lucky Hit Ready Rubbed Tobacco" Inside lid is a "NOTICE" to effect that Tobacco is wrapped in waxed paper lini sealed with "LUCKY HIT TOBACCO" seal.
