Inscriptions: Not signed or dated. "Helena Mena" on hull Other: Ship part-owned by Trinder, Andersen & Co. which in 1880s took over Oliver & Watson, agents for WA interests. Thus Trinder, Andersen & Co. included with WA brokers promising to buy stores shipped out and find wood for return voyage. The "Charlotte Padbury" also used in this trade and both shipped nominated immigrants. The London / Swan service was regular and gradually extended to north coast ports.
