A set of frosted proof Australian coins in a hard plastic case. It contains a 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c and 50c coin.
[.1] Case. The case is clear and does not open. The coins are secured in blue plastic and are visible on both sides. The blue plastic has the lettering 'ROYAL AUSTRALIAN MINT' written in silver, and 'PROOF COIN' embossed underneath.
[.2] Information card. This card is folded, with the Australian Coat of Arms, 'PROOF COIN SET' and 'ROYAL AUSTRALIAN MINT, CANBERRA' on the cover. Inside there are descriptions of the animals on the coins and details of the designers. The back of the card provides coin specific details including weight and composition.
[.3] Compliments card. 'WITH THE COMPLIMENTS OF CONTROLLER OF THE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN MINT' in scripted letterin, signed by J.C. Joslin. This card was originally folded in half, but is now folded into thirds.
[.4] Polystyrene box and lid. Formed to fit the plastic case.
