Hamon: mixture of sugu komidare with sunagashi, very thin and disappears in monouchi and boshi

Type: BUKE ZUKURI
Saya: mijingainuri with inlay of copper pine needles. Kurikata has gold lacquer mon of Ikeda or Matsudaira clan. Soritsuno present
Tsuka: white same bound with blue/brown roughly woven cotton
Fuchi/kashira: black nanako background with gilt dragon overlay
Menuki: gilt dragons
Tsuba: iron, of slight naga-maru-gata shape, carved with a dragon whose coils appear on the reverse of the guard. Signed: SEIRYUKEN EIJU, with seal (Tetsugendo school, mid-19th century). Dimensions: 7.5 x 7.9 x 0.4 cm
