glass magic lantern slides. The slides are mainly the words of songs (e.g.,Lords of the Air, Sunshine & Roses), prayers and hymns. The songs date from ca 1908 to 1945 and include several patriotic ones. These songs etc., were projected onto a screen in the dining / recre- ation hall at Sunset Hospital old mens home during singalongs. The home has operated since 1906. The slides are unmarked, but the boxes are each marked " Kodak / Lantern Plates / etc., / Kodak (Austral- asia) Pty Ltd. / Melbourne Australia "
