DISH, Souvenir Lodge St John

Very small white dish of poor quality with irregularities on the rim and reverse. At the centre is a shield with a black swan around which is "SOUVENIR FROM / WESTERN / AUSTRALIA". Above: "CHRISTMAS GREETINGS / 1934". Beneath: "LODGE ST. JOHN. NO 1. W.A.C.". The date has originally been printed "1932" but has been over-written in indelible ink, "4". Dish belonged to Otto Lipfert, first taxidermist of the Western Australian Museum. Deed of gift receipt no. 26.
