GAS CYLINDER, For Resuscitation Apparatus

Former Kalgoorlie Mining Associates property. Black painted cylinder, has brown stripe painted in centre, top has outlet valve at side and release valve at top. Below brown line is "GMOK / K" [Gold Mines of Kalgoorlie] roughly painted in white. On roughly painted brown line is "5%". On dome of cylinder leading to valves, three quarters is painted white, the rest is unpainted silver. Impressed in this section is "M.S.A. CO. / 11-38" "P942 / ICC -3A2230 / 17821 / GMOK P23 P57L". There are two labels attached to the neck of bottle; one is extremely brittle (has been wrapped in acid-free tissue), the writing is very faded by may read "CIG / SUBIACO", the other is a pre-printed label; "FROM CIG WESTERN AUSTRALIA / SUBIACO". "GMOK / Kalgoorlie" is hand written on label. Also reads "NO CLAIMS FOR SHORT SUPPLY WILL BE RECOGNISED / UNLESS MADE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY". Reverse reads; "Specify / COMWELD Welding and Cutting Equipment / To be sure ... and / ARNOLD Spray Finishing Equipment / For Better Finishes with Economy". For use with resuscitation apparatus H89.767 (or comparable equipment)
