GOLD BROOCH
H1988.642
Brooch is two thin bars with gold scroll at either end, gold ball in centre of scroll. On the bars themselves are patterned edges. An amethyst is set in the middle, flanked by two swans facing the stone, and two crescents enclosing the swans. Similar to H88/643; both pieces are attributed by Dorothy Erickson to C.H. May.
